The American Mutti-i-grees™ Club is a movement and organization whose time has come.
Over the past 2 decades, awareness of the plight of millions of shelter animals euthanized each year has increased, and the time is right for the 25 million+ American mixed-breed dog owners to join together as one voice to incite change.
The American Mutt-i-grees Club, in association with thousands of shelter partners, including lead partner, North Shore Animal League America (the world’s largest no-kill shelter), is committed to the dual goal of elevating the mixed-breed dog – the Mutt-i-gree – to increase shelter adoptions across America, and exposing and eradicating puppy mills, and disreputable backyard breeders that trade in the misery of dogs for profit.
There’s more than one way to help support the estimated 10 million animals that come through shelter doors each year, many of which are Mutt-i-grees, so we offer several ways for club members to help rescue Mutt-i-grees, loving mixed-breed dogs and puppies.
